RARE Ambassador – Community Outreach & Employer Engagement

Are you passionate about helping retirees stay engaged and supporting local small businesses? Join RARE Workforce as a RARE Ambassador and play a key role in growing our mission-driven platform. In this outreach-based role, you’ll connect directly with small business owners to introduce them to RARE Workforce — a trusted source of reliable, experienced, and flexible talent.
We’ll provide the tools: a RARE email address, phone line, training, and guidance. You bring your people skills, professional background, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping businesses thrive while creating meaningful opportunities for retirees.
What You’ll Do:
Reach out to local small businesses by phone and email
Introduce RARE Workforce, its mission, and the benefits of hiring retirees
Explain how to post an opportunity on our site (training provided)
Answer basic questions about the platform and process
Log outreach activity and share feedback with our team for continuous improvement
Represent RARE with professionalism, warmth, and purpose
What We’re Looking For:
Friendly, proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable with basic technology (email, simple tracking forms, phone use)
Professional background in sales, outreach, or customer service is a plus — but not required
Passion for helping others and promoting meaningful retirement engagement
